ASANA 101: Student Weekend Immersion with Brittany Bryden


There’s only so much information that a teacher can offer in a group flow class. Brittany’s ASANA 101: Student Weekend Immersion provides a space to ask questions, dissect common asanas, and learn how to make them feel good in your body.

This two-day weekend training focuses on specific aspects of the yoga practice, such as breaking down sun salutations, standing postures, back-bending, arm balances, and inversions. Learn how to create a strong foundation for a deeper asana practice through calisthenics, as well as a deeper understanding of alignment, self-care and self-practice.

The program is open to all levels of practitioners, from the beginner to the advanced. If you’re looking to deepen your asana practice and knowledge of yoga, this program is perfect for you.

There are no prerequisites. This program is for individuals who are ready to explore their mental and physical boundaries on the mat, and to push their practice to a brand new level.

Weekend Schedule:

Includes a daily practice with Brittany

Saturday AM:
+ Breath, pelvic floor & core activation
+ Posture, planks & twists

Saturday PM:
+ Understanding the hip in open and closed chain postures
+ Warrior 1/2/3 & Half Moon

Sunday AM:
+ Backbends
+ Wheel, Wild Thing, Upward Dog

Sunday PM:
+ Shoulders
+ Chaturanga, Crow arm balance & inversions
